I had to squeeze in among quite a lot of customers drinking and shouting, which could have been intimidating if staying alone. The room was modern, clean, recently decorated, clean, cosy, and tastefully decorated throughout. The hotel offers a welcome drink and pet amenities. The location is perfect for exploring the town, just a 2-minute walk from the Castle with easy access to nearby restaurants, bars, and the harbor. The dining experience was the icing on the cake, with the option for a good breakfast in the neighborhood at a great value. The hotel has excellent facilities.

The hotel is situated in a prime location, perfect for exploring the town with the Castle just a short walk away. While the rooms didn't meet our expectations for comfort and amenities, the noise from the bar until late at night was quite disruptive. The views of the water were a nice touch, but being on top of a pub made it challenging to get a good night's sleep.

The hotel is nicely decorated, but some rooms may have patched-up walls. I enjoyed lovely views from my room at the back, but it could be better. The location is great, near the castle and estuary with a charming exterior, but the big iron doors felt closed off. The dining experience was not perfect as breakfast wasn't included, and I had to go to a nearby café. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
